Finance Specialist I - General Accounting
Job Summary:
Execute the month end close process for assigned areas of responsibility, including monthly reporting, analysis and reconciliations while ensuring the timeliness, accuracy, integrity and quality of the financial statements.
Partner, support, and continually train an offshore team.
Review complex and material reconciliations and entries completed by the offshore team.
Cultivate relationships with assigned bottler for all general accounting activities for all areas above (bottler finance and operations team).
SME for CONA SAP system and RPA for Fixed Assets, point person for escalations for all CONA SAP Fixed Asset and RPA issues.
Identify & implement agreed-upon business process improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with General Ledger COE team, other internal finance process groups, and external stakeholder partners.
Ensure internal controls supporting areas of responsibility are in place and maintained to include required documentation, reporting, and support for internal and external auditors.
Partner with bottler to develop analytical reporting (PowerBI reporting).
Lead monthly fixed asset and cash-related client calls.
Key Skills and Abilities:
Strong understanding of finance business processes and accounting policies/GAAP and ability to apply.
Customer Focus: Developing sustainable, productive internal and external customer relationships and establishing oneself as a valued, trusted financial business partner.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
Attention to detail; independent thinking.
Process improvement focus.
Well-organized. Demonstrated planning, time management, and prioritization skills.
Knowledge of SAP, Blackline, Advance level Microsoft Excel, and PowerBI.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Masters degree and/or CPA preferred.
Years of Experience:
Minimum 5 years finance and/or accounting experience (knowledge of SAP would be preferred).
