We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and self-driven Property Tax Business Development Manager to join our team.
This full-time position, based in our Houston office, involves spearheading strategic sales and marketing initiatives to fuel business growth and expand our market presence across the United States.
The ideal candidate will cultivate and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, identify and vigilantly pursue new business opportunities, and collaborate with various team members and third-party experts to craft and implement effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and design campaigns to expand the company's client base nationwide while also focusing on new industries or issues impacting taxpayers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
Identify new business opportunities and drive the business development process from prospecting to closing deals using inside and outside sales techniques.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine sales strategies and strategic marketing plans to build brand awareness across different industries.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
Manage and update internal CRM system to ensure key sales and marketing KPI's are met.
Represent ITC at industry events, conferences, meetings, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's visibility and reputation among clients, prospects, and strategic partners.
Qualifications:
Proven record in business development or sales within the B2B sector, with a focus on revenue growth and achieving sales targets, with accounting or tax services sales experience strongly preferred.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Confident and resilient when dealing with rejection and prospecting roadblocks.
Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
Experience of serving as a liaison between external marketing agencies and firms is desirable.
Experience in the property tax consulting or financial services industries is highly desirable.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus
Self-motivated, results-oriented, accountable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proven ability to demonstrate meeting sales goals.
Knowledge or familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM software preferred.
