Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our properties, including managing staff, maintaining property rentals, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, develop, and terminate staff members as needed, ensuring that our properties are well-staffed and equipped to provide excellent service to our residents.
  • Financial Management: Collect rent, pay bills, forecast requirements, prepare annual budgets, and analyze variances to ensure the financial success of our properties.
  • Marketing and Leasing: Attract new residents by advertising vacancies, obtaining referrals from current residents, and showcasing the benefits of our properties.
  • Customer Service: Respond to resident complaints, enforce rules of occupancy, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in property management or multifamily housing; 1-3 years of management experience required.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and Dropbox.
  • Certifications: Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) required; Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) and Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) preferred.
