This is accomplished by working with current and new dealers; both independent dealers and those who are part of the "Street Team" to grow, develop, and set up successful strategies for their mobile sales routes and businesses. The Business Development Representative serves as a resource, including going on ride-alongs with customers. They counsel customers on inventory systems, recommend products and provide information and education about new and existing products through demonstrations and coordinating educational presentations. They generate leads through a consultative sales approach. This is achieved by utilizing an understanding of the automotive aftermarket tool industry, gathering information, and staying current on industry trends, analyzing sales data, and working collaboratively with supplier partners, ISN team members, and customers to maximize success. Success is measured in closed sales and growth of accounts that are part of the Mobile Independent Program. This role directly assists the MIP sales specialist and contributes to the success of the mobile sales team.Location: This role will support customers across the southeastern United States. Based on business considerations, we are considering candidates from the following locations: Central Florida, Northern Georgia. Travel throughout the entire SE region will be required.Job Responsibilities:Works closely with MIP Specialist to follow up on leads, cold calls, and assists in closing Independent Mobile Customers.Regularly reviews key selling variables such as price, forecast, market trends, minimum order quantity, minimum freight policies, vendor information, payment terms, special instructions, and other key variables to better serve customers Places orders, where necessary, to close pre-orders for ride a long and/or financing salesManage and report monthly/quarterly Point of Sale (POS) results on "Street Team" and Independent SalesWorks closely with sales team to provide alternative and new ways to assist in customer growthWorks with category managers to assist in new products and promotional activities for independent distributorsTravel two to three times monthly to assist ISN independent dealers and "Street Team" customers on routes and with sales/promotional activitiesAssist sales team in planning promotional calendar, product planograms and merchandisersThis role requires the ability to travel to represent ISN at trade show/industry events, work in person with customers, and assist with product information sessions and trainings. Average travel is anticipated to be 2-3 day increments 1-2 times per month.Qualifications: Education:Minimum formal education required: High School Diploma or GED is required.Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Business Administration preferred.Directly related work experience can substitute for degree.Experience:1-2 years of sales experience required; Outside Business-to-Business (B2B) preferred.Prior knowledge/experience with automotive tools/equipment is a plus.Skills:In order to successfully perform this role, these skills are required:Must have a "hunter" mentality and be confident of ISN policies and procedures to deliver to new prospects/current customers.Strong customer satisfaction skills to manage internal and external customersStrong Interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong analytical skills and ability to gather and analyze data and summary resultsSolid judgement along with decision making skillsStrong knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office: Excel, Microsoft Access, Word, and PowerPointTo accelerate success quickly, the following skills, knowledge, and experience are preferred:Strong leadership capabilitiesFamiliarity with planning process and systemsMust have extensive knowledge of ISN Programs related to Independent DistributorsSolid knowledge and skills of industry software including Tool Manager, route planning, inventory management, and customer relationship management systems.Desire to learn and grow knowledge and understanding of customers, marketplace, and product trendsWhat We Offer-Why ISN:We care about our team members.
