Business Development Representative

Job Brief
We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment. To be successful a person must be able to speak with confidence, and clairty. Have a strong phone presence and excellent listening skills. The sales rep will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
What does an Inside Sales Representative do?
Take an aggressive and strategic approach on customer aquisition. Target specific verticals, complete research, and then work though a list of leads to aquire new customers. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.
Responsibilities
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead generation software, follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails daily
- Understand customer needs and requirements
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales and operations teams for further development and closure
- Close sales and achieve monthly quotas
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within the CRM
- Perform effective online demos to prospects
- Site visits where applicable to foster and maintain relationships> Travel maybe requried both internationally and domestic

- Time Management - Balances a myriad of tasks; prioritizes duties as needed while maintaining call volume quota
- Confidence - present with confidence via virtual, or phone calls with customers
- Software - ability to use Microsoft’s office tools such as excel, outlook, and power point. CRM and lead generation software will also be used and training provided.
- Agility - Able to manuever around obstacles and find solutions and entry points
- Ability to make significant cold calls per day to generate new business
