Due to strong company growth, CitySide Roofing is looking to bring on another experienced Business Development manager to join our team in the Lakeland market in taking the initiative to create and achieve sales goals. In this role, you will have the opportunity to generate and execute strategies for the growth and development of the business, providing key support to business partners and clients. The ideal candidate is goal-oriented, passionate, and has strong interpersonal communication skills. Previous experience working in the construction industry in a business development or sales role is strongly preferred.


Key Responsibilities

  • Targets and increase sales in several Florida markets. Build relationships and term contracts.
  • Attend builder meetings 
  • Attend Florida Tradeshows for potential leads and contacts
  • Follow up with previous clients
  • Identify new business opportunities for new construction roofing
  • Identify and contact key decision makers for new projects
  • Target sponsorship opportunities in order to gain additional market share
  • Set up lunches and mixers with potential clients
  • Cold calls to create new business
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Coordinate on-time and on-budget consultations with home builders.
  •  Ensure customers are satisfied with service from the production/warranty teams

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills


Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, entrepreneurship, construction management, sales management, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Experience in preparing an annual budget; expanding sales within budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action if needed.
