As an hands-on expert in Ansys products, you will use advanced-level engineering knowledge to provide technical professional services and help translate customer requirements into exciting new product features. You will be working within multi-disciplinary teams to create pervasive simulation solutions, advance your industry knowledge, and grow the business impact. Key Duties and Responsibilities Lead in delivery of specific customer facing, technical consulting projects activities. Credibly and professionally execute consulting projects that are sold, as defined in Statement of Work, resulting in high customer satisfaction and delivering value to our customers Actively engage with the sales teams and customers to identify opportunities to provide consulting services to enhance the utilization of simulation in product development Work as an integral member of the Sales and ACE teams to progress and secure the consulting business. This will involve working with Sales to develop appropriate consulting services recommendations and Statements of Work Work closely with the ACE team to ensure timely development of effective Statements of Work and Services Proposals. Monitor the execution and delivery of consulting projects to ensure customer satisfaction and develop opportunities for follow-up projects that advance the vision for improving the customer product development process Look for opportunities to generate marketing collateral from projects such as success stories, testimonials and presentation material Collaborate with Product Development to improve Ansys software products and the customers’ experience using these products Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience Required education and degree type: BS or MS or PhD in

Mechanical/Civil/Aerospace or related field Required minimum years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: BS+5, MS+3, or PhD+0 Demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages Subject matter expert in one or more relevant disciplines within Ansys’ business and is/will be sought out for advice by other Ansys engineers Logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in writing and speaking English Strong organizational and time management skills, possesses a sense of urgency Projects a professional image and demonstrates business acumen, driven to succeed Ability to travel domestically up to 25% of time Two(2) years of hands-on experience in FEA modeling of hi-tech applications using Ansys Mechanical Two(2) years of FEA modeling experience in the hi-tech/semiconductor industry Two(2) years of experience in FEA modeling of electronic equipment, boards and packages Proficient in workflow customization or automation using programming languages such as C++, Python Preferred Qualifications and Skills Preferred education and years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: BS+8, MS+6, PhD+3 2 years of experience in application engineering, customer support, or consulting services type customer facing roles using engineering software Ability to interact effectively with senior business managers and C-level executives Ability to travel domestically up to 50% of time At Ansys, we know that changing the world takes vision, skill, and each other.
