REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
  • 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing quality engineering, advanced quality engineering, or a similar position.
  • In-depth knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and experience in an AS9100 environment are crucial.
  • Strong understanding of quality and manufacturing management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
  • Skilled in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, Statistical Process Control, Root Cause Analysis, APQP, PPAP).

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Preferred certifications include Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or other relevant qualifications.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Insight Global is in search of a Senior Quality Engineer specializing in Advanced Manufacturing. This role entails the planning, analysis, implementation, and evaluation of continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing processes to enhance Quality Engineering. The Senior Quality Engineer will oversee advanced manufacturing projects for new program introductions, ensuring adherence to AS9100 standards while maximizing production efficiency.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with suppliers and internal teams to refine quality processes, conduct audits, and address quality challenges, thereby ensuring ongoing improvement and compliance with industry standards. A comprehensive understanding and experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), manufacturing methodologies, and AS9100 environments are vital for this position.

Compensation:

$120,000/year to $140,000/year. Compensation may vary based on various factors, including skills, experience, and education.
