The Role You'll Play to Create Success

We are happy to announce a full-time, on-site, Human Resources Specialist position. In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact the FrankCrum business everyday by performing Human Resources functions for a variety of companies and departments within the FrankCrum enterprise. This role will be onsite, Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm, in Clearwater, FL.
  1. Greets and discusses needs of visitors as they arrive in HR to provide appropriate direction.
  2. Performs and ensures compliance with recruitment tasks, schedules interviews, drug screens, verifies employment and education, and processes and evaluates professional references, criminal records, MVR, and background checks; informs Human Resources Manager of any concerns.
  3. Creates Adjustment Authorization forms pertaining to employee evaluations, job title changes, compensation changes, and manager and company changes and provides to Human Resources Manager for review and confirmation of accuracy, then keys changes into the HRIS systems and initiates further activities including but not limited to IT tickets and Org chart updates.
  4. Schedules and performs presentations for Onboarding and New Employee Orientations and assembles packets for each meeting.
  5. Enters new employee information into the HRIS, ensures completion of New Hire Checklist, creates personnel files, gathers Form I-9 documents and provides IRCA visual authorization compliance, processes E-Verify, creates personnel files, and performs filing.
  6. Educates employees regarding benefits program and makes changes in the payroll and benefits administration systems.
  7. Serves as final approval on email edits for Marketing regarding Get to Know You Questionnaires and employee photos.
  8. Sends pending separation email, initial IT Ticket, sends separation link, gathers personnel file, and updates MyFrankCrum.com.
  9. Administers various employee programs and projects such as monthly anniversary and birthday communications, annual service awards, Angel Tree, and employee, wages, and benefits surveys.
  10. Prepares statistical data for the monthly Leadership Council report.
  11. Acts as primary contact for the computer monitoring software, administers program, and consults with and provides training to managers regarding data output and usage.
  12. Maintains compliance for paper and electronic Federal, state, and local employment posters.
  13. Maintains and orders office supplies for the Human Resources and FrankAdvice Departments, and reconciles and uploads credit card receipts into banking portal.
  14. Creates and maintains policies and procedures.
  15. Posts jobs and reviews resumes as a backup function to the Corporate Recruiter.


The Attributes We Seek

Keys to success in this position include having knowledge at a moderate level with Federal, state, and local laws regarding human resources including but not limited to: FLSA, ADAAA, FMLA, EEO, NLRA, IRCA, FCRA, etc. Two (2) years of experience in a wide variety of moderately complex human resources work and a bachelor's degree in human resources or equivalent experience is required. Professional in Human Resources (PHR/SHRM-CP) certification is preferred.
