The HR Specialist will manage a variety of HR functions, ensuring the seamless implementation of HR policies and fostering a positive environment at Faster Way to Fat Loss.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Act as the primary contact for staff and management regarding HR policies and procedures. Address employee inquiries and facilitate conflict resolution.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Oversee the recruitment lifecycle, including job advertisements, candidate evaluations, interviews, and offer management. Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
- Performance Management: Assist managers with the performance evaluation process, including goal establishment, feedback provision, and development planning. Aid in the creation of performance enhancement strategies when necessary.
- Compliance: Guarantee adherence to all applicable employment laws and regulations. Stay informed on legislative changes and suggest policy revisions as required.
- Training and Development: Assess training requirements and coordinate the creation and delivery of employee development programs. Foster a culture of ongoing learning and professional advancement.
- HR Strategy: Contribute to the formulation and execution of HR strategies that align with organizational goals. Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on HR matters.
- Compensation and Benefits: Support the management of compensation and benefits initiatives, including salary analysis, benefits enrollment, and employee inquiries.
- Employee Engagement: Spearhead initiatives aimed at boosting employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Organize activities that cultivate a positive workplace culture.
- Corrective Action Process: Oversee the corrective action process, ensuring documentation and administration of disciplinary measures are conducted fairly and in accordance with company policies and legal standards.
- HR Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and evaluate HR metrics, such as turnover rates and employee satisfaction. Provide regular updates to senior management.
- Additional Duties: Execute other HR-related tasks as assigned to support the overall effectiveness of the HR function.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- MBA is preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in a generalist HR capacity, with comprehensive knowledge of all HR functions.
- Proven experience in employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
- In-depth understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- High degree of professionalism and commitment to excellence.
- Adept at working independently and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is advantageous.
