POSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to handle a wide range of HR tasks, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and compliance. This role will ensure the effective execution of HR policies and procedures, contributing to a positive and productive work environment with FASTer Way to Fat Loss.

Essential Functions:
  • Assists in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume review, interviewing, and selection
  • Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations and onboarding processes, ensuring all new hire paperwork is completed accurately and timely
  • Support the performance evaluation process, including tracking and documentation, by launching evaluations through HRIS, and assist managers with performance improvement plans and employee development initiatives, including but not limited to, KPI and metric review
  • Manages the corrective action process and documentation, up to and including employee terminations, in accordance with company policy
  • Collaborates with executive leadership to define the organizations long-term mission and goals; identifies ways to support this mission through talent management
  • Identifies key performance indicators for the organizations human resource and talent management functions; assesses the organizations success and market competitiveness based on these metrics
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases, and assist with audits and other compliance-related activities
  • Participates in professional development and networking conferences and events
  • Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs
  • Provide support during open enrollment and benefits-related inquiries
  • Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple and competing objectives/demands while meeting goals and deadlines
  • Proficiency in HR software and Google Suite
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to engage and collaborate with clients and team members
  • Demonstrated ability to think and work independently with limited supervision
