POSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to handle a wide range of HR tasks, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and compliance. This role will ensure the effective execution of HR policies and procedures, contributing to a positive and productive work environment with FASTer Way to Fat Loss.



Essential Functions:

  • Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs. Address employee concerns and provide guidance to resolve conflicts.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Lead the recruitment process for new hires, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer letters. Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Performance Management: Support managers in the performance review process, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning. Help design and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations. Keep up-to-date with changes in legislation and recommend policy updates as needed.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate the development and delivery of employee training programs. Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • HR Strategy: Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with business objectives. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on HR-related matters.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs, including salary benchmarking, benefits enrollment, and employee inquiries.
  • Employee Engagement: Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Organize events and activities that promote a positive work culture.
  • Corrective Action Process: Manage the corrective action process, including the documentation and administration of disciplinary actions. Work closely with managers to ensure that all actions are fair, consistent, and compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze HR metrics, such as turnover rates, time-to-hire, and employee satisfaction. Provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Other Duties: Perform other HR-related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the HR function.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a generalist HR role, with a strong understanding of all HR functions.
  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and corrective action processes.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • High level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
