Responsibilities and Expectations:

This position will primarily be responsible for journal entries, reconciliations, assisting with cash applications, and month-end reporting for Shared Services.

* Reconcile vendor statements and discuss with vendors. * Assist with G/L account reconciliation. * Month-end reporting specific to AR & AP. * Prepare and enter general ledger journal entries * Verify entries posted working with corresponding departments. * Monitor and report on purchase orders received, not invoiced. * Assist in review of invoice journal submittals. * Backup for weekly payment proposal / check run. * Cash Application Support

Qualifications and Competencies:

* Minimum three years' related experience * Ability to perform at a high level in a multi-branch, high volume environment. * Good knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. * Knowledge of computers, Microsoft office applications, intermediate knowledge in Excel required and accounting software, Dynamics AX a plus.
