Job DescriptionJob Description

Growing company is looking for a Staff Accountant to assist with month-end processes, reconciliations, and other accounting related tasks. This positions is highly visible and offers great growth potential.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain and reconcile the GL, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable accounts

- Provide analytical support for forward-looking financial and business-related projects

- Prepare/analyze management reports by working closely with our Sales, Customer Service & Production teams

- Record all inventory adjustments into the system, and report the company cost transfers, any journal entries if needed.

- Support month end closing procedures to ensure a timely and accurate close.

- Respond to customer inquiries, review new customer applications and determine credit worthiness and limits.

- Manage collection efforts including but not limited to customer contact, working with sales staff, senior management and attorneys when needed.

- Produce monthly AR Reports and customer statements timely.

Requirements:

- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

- 2+ years of accounting experience

- Must have a high attention to detail along with strong communication and organizational skills

- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Power BI experience a plus

- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel), strong Excel to include pivot tables and vlookups highly desired
