Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, prepare, reconcile, and analyze financial records and reports utilizing accounting methodologies.
  • Assist in the formulation of financial forecasts and projections.
  • Monitor and verify accounting records and transactions for precision, timeliness, and adequacy of documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory standards, and generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Analyze reports for accuracy before dissemination and address any discrepancies as needed.


Accountability:

  • Verify figures and documents for correct entries and mathematical accuracy.
  • Classify, record, and summarize financial data using journals, ledgers, or computerized systems.
  • Maintain documentation for departmental or company accounts including ledgers, journals, and reports.
  • Determine current financial balances to create schedules, summary reports, trial balances, and financial statements in accordance with accounting practices.
  • Reconcile accounts with the company’s financial system.
  • Perform specialized accounting tasks, including monitoring receivables and managing cash or negotiable items.
