Divert is tackling these crises head on, delivering immense progress towards eliminating wasted food through its unique solutions – from converting wasted food into renewable fuels to feeding those in need. Divert works with the top retailers in the industry, including Ahold Delhaize, Albertsons, CVS, Kroger, Target, and others, and nearly 5,400 retail stores across the U.S., providing technology, logistics, and anaerobic digestion facilities to help retailers reach their sustainability goals. The company processes more than 232,000 tons of wasted food a year and, through its collaboration with some of the nation’s largest food retailers and relationships with local food banks and nonprofits, Divert has facilitated the donation of more than 10 million pounds of food to people, rather than going to waste. What you’ll do: As a member of People Operations, reporting to the Recruiting Manager aligned with Operations, the Recruiting Specialist is a key member of our growing team to help ensure a smooth hiring process for Hiring Managers and Candidates. The Specialist will join our fast paced, high volume Recruitment team and help Divert grow the workforce at multiple plants/facilities across the country. As a main point of contact for future Divert hires, communication of our mission, vision and helping to establish us as an employer of choice is top priority. Responsibilities: Manage a full cycle recruitment process, act as partner and consultant to hiring managers Correspond with candidates via email, phone and text message Review and post requisitions in a timely manner in the Clear Co. ATS system Create external job postings on various 3rd party sites such as diversity job boards and campus recruiting Scheduling and coordinating candidate interviews, troubleshooting and escalating issues as needed; communicating throughout the process Monitor and manage all required pre-employment testing protocols Administering ATS user accounts and access levels Utilize 3rd party sites and ATS to source passive candidates Partner with plant leadership throughout the recruiting process Assist with communication and coordination with external staffing firms as needed Ensure legal compliance by monitoring applicable federal and state HR requirements and maintaining records accordingly Assist with routine tasks required to administer and execute People related programs Create, manage and foster community relationships to aid in the growth of existing and new Divert facilities Continuously partner with the Recruiting team and Manager to design, refine and implement innovative solutions that help the team grown and move forward What we’re looking for: Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred; or equivalent experience At least one year experience in Talent Acquisition/Recruiting, actively responsible for managing job openings (high volume experience preferred) Minimum 2 years experience in a customer service or support setting Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Organized and detail-oriented Prior experience with recruiting tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed, etc. highly preferred Prior experience with an Applicant Tracking System (Clear Co. or Greenhouse preferred but not required) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion Familiarity with Google Suite of products preferred but not required What’s in it for you?
