Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Corporate Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for corporate accounting, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a focus on driving financial performance and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Preparation of financial statements, including monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company guidelines and industry standards.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with business leaders to develop financial plans that support strategic objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the accounting function.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as needed.

Ideal Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or chemical industry preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software (e.g. SAP)
  • Based in Wilmington
