NTTDATA Contract Manager

NTTDATA is looking for a passionate Senior Contract Manager with Government Contractor experience who has experience building and fostering our consulting capability within the implementation team across Public Sector customers. You will be leading digital transformation and cloud management projects with the help of our outstanding subject matter advisors, partners, and implementation specialists. In addition, you will be a player/coach to help establish contractual alignment and key contract delivery functionality within the public sector professional services team driving industry best practices and experiences to the team while directly leading one of our more strategic implementations. This role will contribute to NTTDATA product roadmap through active feedback from customers and implementation experience.

Job Overview:

NTTDATA is looking for a passionate Senior Contract Manager with Government Contractor experience who has experience building and fostering our consulting capability within the implementation team across Public Sector customers. This role will contribute to NTTDATA product roadmap through active feedback from customers and implementation experience. The Contract Manager will report directly to the Account Sr. Director.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Provide leadership, oversight, and management of customer-facing project delivery within public sector vertical to ensure performance against contract and project requirements. Coordinate and ensure completion of deliverables, and other contractual requirements.
  • Manage all aspects of contract management from planning through execution while establishing solid working relationships with customers and stakeholders to deliver successfully on program goals, contract language and contract modifications.
  • Management and monitoring of the work relating to management and support of all activities throughout the lifecycle of the contract and to ensure projects implementations follow the proper guidelines.
  • Analyze and manage the real needs of business unit stakeholders including customers and end users, with an initial focus on requirements analysis to quickly move into management of those requirements and verifying their fulfillment through actual implementation.
  • Manage cross-functional interactions with NTTDATA teams - e.g. Product Management, Customer Support, and Cloud Operations and be the point of contact to drive toward successful contract delivery and implementations.
  • Plan for weekly, monthly, and quarterly leadership reviews focused on implementation program status with a focus on schedule, cost, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Coaching the other directors/project leaders on sound program and contract management industry fundamentals in support of our government contractor projects

Required Experience:

  • 5 + years of working within Public Sector or Federal Government Services
  • 5+ years of public sector/government contractor IT Program Management experience or equivalent and a proven track record working with heterogeneous teams spread across multiple locations/time zones is mandatory.
  • 5+ years of direct client engagement experience over multiple end-to-end implementations.
  • 7 years of correctly interpret trends and patterns from available data and to formulate effective strategies to achieve program/project objectives. As well as drive contract delivery and interpretation
  • 5+ years of customer facing and working with 3rd party vendors
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or equivalent experience with a keen business sense is required.
  • 5 years of SaaS, Microsoft technologies, and Cloud services
  • Six Sigma, ITIL, PMP or other certifications required.

Other Key Characteristics:

  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Government Contracts and Change Order Processes
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of SDLC, project management, and product implementation methodologies. Experience in Program Management or Product Support
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities efficiently and professionally.
  • Proficient with the utilization of Microsoft tools such as MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Project
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts
  • Must be to commute daily to Austin, TX or reside in Austin
