Create proposals summarizing programs, options, and service plans. Analyze risk and coverage program structures, recommending options and executing changes. Stay current on forms, coverage, insurance carriers, industry trends, and legislation. Follow client service workflows, engaging internal resources for efficiency and accuracy. Develop personalized client relationships through various communication channels. Ensure the accuracy of information in client portals. Work with internal teams to ensure cohesive and timely service execution. Collaborate with other service teams for a cohesive client service experience. Create submissions for underwriters, engaging with clients on their needs. Maintain positive relationships with insurance carriers, learning about their products and underwriting approaches. Train, guide, and mentor Client Service Representatives and peers.

Further Qualifications Experience with complex groups and larger accounts (5,000 lives or more). Ability to mentor/train Account Managers and manage accounts independently. Undergraduate degree preferred. Required Life and Health Insurance State License; professional certification preferred (GBA, PHR, CLU, CEBS, CBP). Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance carrier, benefits administration, and/or insurance brokerage. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of HMO, PPO, CDHP for health plans, wellness programs, dental, life, and short/long-term disability plans. Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent relationship management and customer service skills. High integrity regarding client data confidentiality.
