The Opportunity:

Were on the hunt for a Senior Accountant whos not just skilled with numbers but ready to light up our finance department with their expertise. This role is your chance to be a key player in the continuous growth of the largest full-service fire protection company in the Northeast. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Tackle a wide variety of intricate and complex accounting duties and projects.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Analyze income statement activity to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
  • Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance internal controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and ensure accurate financial reporting.

What You'll Need to Do It:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a corporate accounting department. Big 4 experience? Even better
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Power BI experience a plus).
  • A desire to learn, grow, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to navigate interactions across an organization.
  • Experience with accounting for purchase price allocation from M&A transactions is a plus.
