Job Responsibilities:
Conduct membership sales with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Welcome members and guests warmly, remembering names and offering assistance.
Manage check-ins following company procedures.
Provide courteous and helpful phone assistance.
Communicate special events to members and guests.
Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly.
Sell and monitor retail merchandise.
Facilitate payment for member services.
Perform data entry and database maintenance.
Familiarize yourself with Iron House S&C facility and services.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
Assist in various projects as assigned.
Perform opening and closing duties.
Attend employee training meetings.
Position Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency with Google Drive (Sheets, Documents).
Must maintain communication via team WhatsApp group chat during shifts.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to communicate effectively.
Walking to inspect the gym and monitor the area.
Visual acuity to observe participants and maintain lists.
Capability for setting up gym equipment.
Comfort with standing, climbing ladders, and heights.
Ability to lift and reach up to 50lbs.
Cognitive Considerations:
Proficiency in reading, writing, and organizing materials.
Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm demeanor.
Hours:
Full-time position offering 35-45 hours per week.
The shift is open from morning to midday and rotates Saturdays and Sundays if someone is scheduled off. As the manager schedules, extra fill-in hours include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
The shift opening is Monday through Friday: 7am - 3pm
Availability to work rotating Saturdays 7am-3pm /Sundays 11am-4pm in the event someone is scheduled off.
Starting Salary:
$15.00 - $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and responsibilities.
Employees will have free 24/7 access to gym facilities.
Paid Time Off:
Your PTO balance will be 37.5 hours effective upon your 6-month anniversary. Updating to 75 hours upon your 1-year anniversary. PTO expires at the end of each calendar year and resets on January 1st. PTO can be taken in 30-minute increments and must be used to cover any time your scheduled shift cannot be met. Exceeding your allotted PTO, the requested time off will be unpaid.
Paid Holidays:
You will receive 7.5 hours of paid leave for the following holidays on scheduled workdays we are not staffed. Calling off the day before or after the paid holiday without notice would exempt you from paid benefits: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Thanksgiving Day.
