Atlanta, United States The Ladders Full time
Stenn is one of the leading FinTechs in Europe and a category leader in the verticals and markets it operates in. Founded in 2015, Stenn's purpose is to connect international SMEs to the global financial system, helping to bridge a reported $3.6 trillion (USD) financing gap through a fast, simple online platform. To date, Stenn has enabled over $18 billion (USD) of finance to SMEs in 3 verticals and 4 markets, with capital provided by several blue-chip banks and institutional fund managers across the globe.

Rapid expansion continues at Stenn, as under-served SMEs seek financing solutions to manage significant macroeconomic and supply chain disruption; and this follows our $50 million Series A fundraise in 2022, valuing Stenn at $900 million.

Our HQ is in London with employees across the globe, including the USA, Europe and China. We are made up of diverse, highly skilled professionals who work in an innovative way to develop and drive our business further. Our people are empowered to work autonomously through a trusting leadership style which encourages learning.

The Role:

As the Content Marketing Manager you will be responsible for developing, creating and managing content to attract customers and build brand authority. This role requires a blend of creative thinking, strategic planning, and hands-on content creation skills. Working in close partnership with the revenue function, you will deliver world class content that resonates with our target audiences in the eCommerce and SaaS industries.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of content marketing, a passion for storytelling, and experience in the tech industry. You will be responsible for creating, editing, and publishing high-quality content (including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, ebooks etc) and informative pieces that align with our editorial standards and resonate with our audience. A journalistic background is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to craft narratives that are both engaging and insightful. You should be a self-starter, with the ability to work efficiently, anticipate issues and come up with innovative solutions to solve them.

We genuinely believe that this kind of greenfield opportunity to build something from the ground up doesn't come along very often, even less so in such a dynamic and growing organisation like Stenn as we build our marketing machine. If you love a challenge and are ready to leverage your deep knowledge and experience to define, build and continue to develop Stenn's content marketing strategy, this is the opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  • Understand the needs and pain points of our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and create inputs for content strategy.
  • Develop and execute a content strategy including content creation, distribution, and performance analysis.
  • Write, edit, and publish various types of content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and more.
  • Manage the content publishing and distribution process, ensuring timely delivery and distribution across appropriate channels
  • Stay on top of industry trends and incorporate relevant insights into your content.
  • Conduct thorough research to ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and relevant.
  • Utilize SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and drive organic traffic.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance to inform future content creation and strategy adjustments.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to create content that supports revenue initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5 years+ of professional writing experience, preferably in a B2B content creation role.
  • Proven experience as a B2B content writer, writing for technical audiences preferably with a focus writing for eCommerce and/or SaaS.
  • Exceptional writing, editing skills and proofreading skills with a strong portfolio of published work.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and content management systems (CMS).
  • Strong research skills, the ability to conduct in-depth research, and synthesize complex information into clear, accessible content.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A journalistic background is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of the eCommerce and SaaS landscapes, including current trends and challenges.
  • Proficiency in using content analytics tools to measure performance and inform content strategy is desirable.
  • Strong editorial sense and the ability to create content that is both engaging and informative are crucial.
