We are seeking a Head of Content to play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our content strategy. This position requires a deep understanding of audience research, strong management skills for overseeing freelance content creators and public relations efforts, and the ability to collaborate with internal content creators to ensure consistent messaging.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with our business goals and market trends
  • Conduct audience research to understand the needs, preferences, and behaviors of our target audience
  • Define content goals, KPIs, and measurement frameworks to track the success of content initiatives
  • Oversee the creation and curation of high-quality content across various formats (blogs, whitepapers, case studies, videos, etc.)
  • Manage a team of freelance content creators, providing clear guidelines, feedback, and support to ensure content meets our standards and objectives
  • Collaborate with internal marketing team members to ensure messaging consistency and alignment with brand voice and tone
  • Develop and implement a proactive public relations strategy to enhance our brand presence and reputation.
  • Coordinate and manage press releases, media pitches, and other PR activities to maximize coverage and impact
  • Work closely with product, sales, and other teams to ensure content supports and enhances broader company initiatives
  • Align content efforts with SEO and digital marketing strategies to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to identify content opportunities and threats
  • Provide insights and recommendations to adapt and refine content strategies based on market dynamics


Requirements:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in content strategy, content creation, and public relations, preferably within the cybersecurity or AppSec industry
  • Strong understanding of audience research methods and tools
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage and inspire a team of freelance content creators
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Creative thinker with a strategic approach to problem-solving
