The Front Office Coordinator position at Pinnacle will allow you to engage with the patient throughout their journey while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care.

We are seeking a Front Office Coordinator to join our dedicated team at Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility in Canton, OH. This part-time position involves working in Canton on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Additionally, there is the opportunity to pick up extra hours by floating to our clinics in Akron, Cleveland, and Westerville as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains lobby/front desk cleanliness and organization, including keeping water, coffee supplies, etc., full for patient use.
  • Responsible for managing incoming phone calls regarding scheduling, initial billing questions, and other inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Scan documents and upload into patient charts.
  • Greet and check-in patients, collect co-pays and balances.
  • Utilizes the nAble software to schedule appointments for patients by matching physician availability with patients' preferences in terms of location, date, and time.
  • Communicate as needed with physicians/clinicians and other staff about any patient concerns/issues related to scheduling. Consult with Front Office Supervisor about any system and/or scheduling problems.
  • Prepares patient charts in advance (i.e. next day prep sheet and associated preparation tasks) each day. Is knowledgeable in aspects of infertility diagnostic testing and treatment, as related to scheduling guidelines and financial policies, as outlined in the Front Office Manual.
  • Provides information to patients regarding unpaid balances as recorded by billing staff.
  • Has a basic understanding of contracted insurance plans (by facility) and how participating/non-participating plans impact fees (i.e. UHC vs BCBS for AARL).
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma and at least 2 years of experience in a business office in the healthcare field
  • A minimum of two or more years' related experience in physician billing with particular emphasis in charge entry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite software proficiently. Must be competent with basic computer operating skills. Must have the ability to utilize the internet and basic typing skills of 45+ WPM.
  • Experience with an Electronic Medical Record system preferred
  • Superior customer service & phone skills required
  • Basic knowledge of insurance, medical billing & collections preferred
  • Knowledge or interest in women's health and/or infertility is a plus


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

$17.00 - $19.00 hourly

The compensation range for this position is between $17.00 and $19.00 per hour. Final compensation offers will be determined based on factors such as years of experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, dental, life, and vision insurance.
