**Job Responsibilities**

* Place POs based on internal customer requests, provide regular status updates

* Review weekly/daily input from MRP system for large swings (up or down) in requirements, reschedule when necessary

* Enter and Maintain PO status via email and/or iSupplier (system)

* Obtain competitive quotes from suppliers when necessary, always look for cost or leadtime reduction

* Follow purchasing, invoicing, receiving procedures so that nothing gets hung up at any point

* Attend internal status meetings for production

* Review ECOs for revision changes and take appropriate steps with open POs/suppliers

**Requirements**

* 5+ years Purchasing experience with Associates degree

* Oracle, SAP, SAGE MRP Required

* Ability to use computer for long periods at a time

* Microsoft Office Suite capable

* Ability to discuss requirements with suppliers

* Ability to participate in internal meetings and provide clear and concise information
