The Business Analysis Manager is a strategic role essential for driving the analytical capabilities of the Corporate Operations department. By leveraging data analytics and business intelligence, this role partners with IT and Finance to harness data-driven insights, ensuring operational efficiency and informed decision-making processes.
. Essential Responsibilities:
Team Leadership : Spearhead the Business Analysis Team, inclusive of Data Architect and Business Analyst roles, to ensure accurate and timely analytics deliverables.
Strategic IT Collaboration : Work in tandem with the IT team for the design, execution, and ongoing management of a robust data warehousing infrastructure.
Industry Awareness : Regularly update oneself with the latest trends in data analytics, business intelligence, and related technologies, integrating innovations beneficial for the company.
Cross-Functional Partnerships : Engage with various teams and key stakeholders to define and track KPIs, driving results in line with company goals.
Data-Driven Initiatives : Champion analytical projects that enhance operational strategies, from optimizing resource allocation to refining customer experiences and streamlining manufacturing workflows.
Strategic Alignment : Coordinate closely with the VP of Operations, ensuring that all analytical initiatives align with and support broader corporate objectives.
Performance Monitoring : Regularly review the outcomes of data-driven projects, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure optimal ROI and impact.
Culture Building : Be an ambassador for a culture that values continuous improvement, emphasizing the importance of data in decision-making processes.
Other duties may arise in response to business needs.
Essential Skills:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
Experience:
Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in business analysis, data analytics, or a related domain, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
Skills:
Communication : Outstanding ability to translate complex data insights into understandable and actionable recommendations.
Analytical Prowess : Proficiency in predictive analytics, data mining, and trend spotting.
Technical Mastery : Hands-on experience with data warehousing tools and platforms; adept at collaborating with IT teams.
Leadership : Demonstrated success in team management, mentoring, and development.
Leadership Duties:
Direct oversight of the Business Analysis Team, ensuring collaboration, timely deliverables, and professional development.
Work Environment:
