Position Overview:

The Retail Pharmacy Business Analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the pharmacy department through comprehensive analytical practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts thorough analysis of operations to assess, enhance, and sustain workflows and processes within the pharmacy department. This involves data-driven management and fiscal assessments, including detailed reporting and analytical evaluations aligned with Tower Health's policies and procedures.
  • Oversees operational plans, processes, and performance metrics, including financial budgets, revenue streams, expenditures, and progress towards established objectives, ensuring alignment with Tower Health's mission, vision, and values.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a health-related discipline or business, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Current certification and/or licensure as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • High school diploma or GED.
Experience Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in operations management within a healthcare environment, focusing on fiscal performance, financial analysis, and billing/reimbursement systems.
  • Familiarity with healthcare information and cost accounting systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with well-developed verbal and written communication abilities, experienced in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Ability to synthesize data and formulate strategic approaches based on findings.
  • Effective interaction with diverse cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic groups.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three to five years of progressive operations management experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Clinical or business experience within a significant healthcare organization.
  • Experience in call center operations.
  • Familiarity with Epic systems is highly desirable.
  • Capability to lead and manage in dynamic environments.
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to organizational needs and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Certification and Licensure:
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification may be required based on departmental needs.
