Job Purpose

As part of the Compliance Team, the Inventory Tech III - Cultivationis responsible for ensuring that all inventory movements throughout operations are physically moving and recorded accurately and timely within Metrc and the company's ERP system. This role serves as a problem-solver for process and system support and works with Supply Chain to assist in all Physical Inventory Activities, Cycle Counts and Audits. This role is expected to exercise all Gold Flora safety standards, SOP's, and state and local laws. The Inventory Tech III - Cultivation is a team-player, respectful collaborator, and has strong attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supports the post-production and Compliance team by managing METRC transfers to Distribution and Manufacturing
  • Manages dry goods inventory across multiple facilities in Metrc and ERP System
  • Manages the day-to-day METRC transfer processes ensuring all transactions are completed as accordance with state laws and regulations
  • Assists with packaging finished product into Metrc and importing the inventory into ERP system to set up transfer to Distribution
  • Oversees document control and organization of Metrc Transfers, METRC manifests, package tags, inventory logs, and ERP System
  • Helps conduct inventory audits to ensure accuracy with METRC
  • Works closely with Post-Production, Distribution and Manufacturing to get transfers completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Creates sample packages for R&D Testing and coordinate with the testing lab for pick up
  • REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week (May include weekends and/or Holidays)
  • Executes on all delivery in-transit support functions for distribution, including all editing of orders
  • Produces all draft invoices accurately and timely
  • Reconciles invoices for all first party and third party retail stores
  • Communicates with drivers and all cross functional parties issues and resolutions while drivers are in-transit and updates paperwork associated with these activities
  • Facilitates and processes product returns and rejections from stores
  • Assists with Metrc and manifesting orders
  • Operates in Metrc and ERP as needed for inventory movements
  • Complies with local and state guidelines requiring chain of custody of controlled substances.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and pertinent DCC Regulations
  • Works as part of a team.
  • Contributes toward a desirable workplace culture.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week (May include weekends and/or Holidays)
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Ability to communicate effectively and ask for assistance when needed
  • Knowledge and practical experience with inventory management procedures
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Metrc, ERP systems, and proficiency in Microsoft office and Google Sheets is preferred
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities/tasks
  • Candidate must be a self-starter, flexible to work in a collaborative structure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Capable to resolve problems in a professional manner
  • High School Diploma
  • Capable of working in a fast pace work environment where you are subject to many interruptions.
  • Familiarity with the Prop. 64 market a plus.
  • Cannabis experience a plus but not required.
Working Environment
  • This position will work in an indoor manufacturing facility with controlled temperatures; exposed to hazardous chemicals, bright lighting, loud equipment, airborne particles, and moving mechanical parts.
Job Requirements
  • Must be able to stand, walk, lift, sit, bend, squat, push, pull, talk and hear for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis without assistance.
  • Work revolves around hours of operating and occasional overtime as needed.
  • High School diploma required; College degree; preferred
  • 1+ years of compliance-related experience in a highly regulated industry
  • Experience in a legal cannabis market highly preferred
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Selected candidate will be required to pass a post offer, pre-employment background check.
