Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the development and implementation of data loss prevention controls, including analysis of data, products, and usage, as well as creation and maintenance of detection logic.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal functional and business areas to ensure alignment with security, data, and privacy frameworks, initiatives, and policies.
  • Protect the data of millions of customers, associates, and Walmart's global infrastructure through innovative problem-solving and diligent data management.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience specifically in data loss prevention technologies creating and implementing new detection logic.
  • Intermediate adversarial and analytical expertise, comfortable reviewing data to identify control gaps and recommending junior-level countermeasures.
  • Some experience building and testing regular expressions and data dictionaries under supervision.
  • Some technical acumen (enterprise, endpoint, network, and/or cloud) to participate in the review of data flows, network diagrams, and other documentation for new applications and to identify appropriate data controls and locations.
