Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Special Projects Coordinator, you will serve in a market/division level role to provide communications and human resources support to hospital based teams. You will aim to streamline efforts across the market by providing a single point of contact for human resource communications, orientation, rewards and recognition, events, and diversity and inclusion strategies.

  • You will support market and/or division human resources communication needs, such as benefits, rewards and recognition, employee events and HR policy
  • You will coordinate and facilitate the Austin market New Employee Orientation, including welcoming new hires, delivering the human resources orientation presentation, serving as a back-up presenter for corporate ethics and compliance, and coordinating orientation logistics
  • You will support division diversity, equity and inclusion efforts through launching colleague networks, developing a leader mentoring program, and being an active participant in the division diversity council
  • You will assist with Leadership Development Institute planning
  • You will support North Austin Medical Centers Volunteer Services program
  • You will serve as market and/or division leader for reward and recognition events
