The purpose of the role is to drive continuous improvement on a daily basis by identifying and leading CI/Efficiency projects across the site, developing in-house capability in using Lean Tools for effective problem solving and process improvement to deliver and embed Operational Excellence.
Responsibilities include;
· Lead, facilitate and co-ordinate LEAN and PPI (Practical Process Improvement) principles, tools & techniques, developing internal CI capability across the site.
· Improve decision-making and problem-solving capabilities within high performing teams at all levels throughout the organisation to increase autonomy and the pace of change.
· Drive Operational Excellence roll-out plans for the site collaborating with external partners and global team.
· Work with the leadership team to define the plans for Operational excellence and provide regular updates on the status of projects.
Requirements
· CI/process improvement experience, with experience within the Pharmaceutical industry preferred.
· Proactive in your approach, have a keen attention for detail, and be conscientious in ensuring all tasks are completed in full.
· Previous experience in the implementation of lean structures, and application of Lean tools.
· Strong leadership qualities, including experience in leading and delivering change management.
· Lean Six Sigma Belt certification (ideally black belt)
