Job Description Children’s Therapy Center is seeking a Program Assistant dedicated to Administrative Operations and Center Program Support in our Tacoma and Kent location Our Program Assistant will be responsible for general building duties, and support of our Center-based Program Team serving children aged 3-18. Our Program Assistant will support our buildings by maintaining a clean, well-organized, safe facility and work environment. They will support Center-based program operations by preparing materials and assisting with group and therapy activities and resources. Our preferred candidate is highly organized with strong passion for helping children with special needs, and their families reach their full potential. Qualifications Primary Responsibilities Provide general administrative and Center-program support including but not limited to managing and preparing materials and documents, creating program-related signage and/or instructions, copying, scanning, and other tasks. Maintain treatment room, classroom, facility and test kit cleanliness and organization. Take inventory of supplies and assist in ordering and maintaining supplies in collaboration with teams. Plan, organize, prepare and breakdown therapy materials and activities in collaboration with Center team providers. Provide support for groups in collaboration with Center-program providers, as needed. Attend and participate in therapy activity planning meetings as assigned. Attend and participate in Center team and Administrative Operations team meetings for planning and collaboration. Clean, sanitize and maintain order of building materials, therapy materials, test kit materials and facility areas. Provide backup support for the front desk including but not limited to checking-in families, conducting health screenings, answering phones and supporting other front desk functions when needed. Monitor, maintain and keep record of therapy equipment and materials on-loan to families. Accurately and confidentially manage and safeguard patient information within the office. Provide coordination, training and support for program volunteers as requested or necessary. Actively participate with program and facility health and safety practices including participating in related meetings, acting as a subject matter expert (when applicable) and sharing information and communication with program leaders and peers. Participate as an active member of the Administrative-Operations and Center-based teams during team meetings, staffing, in-services, and coaching/collaboration opportunities. Responsible for ensuring compliance with Children’s Therapy Center’s processes, policies, and timelines. Demonstrable Experience and Other Qualifications Education and/or experience working with families and young children in a multi-cultural setting preferred, or highly motivated to learn. Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey thoughts and express ideas effectively using various oral, written, visual, and/or non-verbal skills. Effective listening skills, including the ability to recognize, comprehend and appreciate various perspectives and diverse points of view. Organized and detail oriented, with the ability to organize work to meet various commitments and responsibilities. Ability to anticipate potential challenges, and adjust to changes as needed. Collaborative and participatory; serves as an active member of the team, inviting diverse perspectives to support organizational priorities and common goals. Demonstrated the ability to include, value, respect, and engage perspectives that cross cultural backgrounds, lived experiences, and diverse points of view. Strong decision-making skills, including the ability to complete duties factoring appropriate or relevant details, considerations, and input from all individuals impacted. Consciously and intentionally operates with self-awareness; consistently seeking opportunities to learn and grow in proactive and respectful ways. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook is a plus. Preferred knowledge and experience working within HIPAA rules and regulations. Current CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain these certifications upon offer, per-employment. Creative thinker who can anticipate and meet the needs of employee-teammates and families. Experience working with children with developmental delay or disability preferred. Additional Information Schedule: This position is available at full time 40 hour per week and operates onsite between our Kent and Tacoma Centers, in-person. Tuesday/Thursday: 8:00am-5:30pm Children’s Therapy Center offers equitable and competitive pay commensurate with job-related experience and education. The pay rate range for this position is $19.08 - $29.04 per hour dependent on related experience and education. Our comprehensive benefits package includes generous paid time off, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and continuing education benefits. Supplemental/premium insurance options are also available. Eligible employees can enroll in our retirement plan with their first paycheck and will be eligible for company contributions after their first year of employment.
