As the Business Development/Lead Generation Specialist your role will be to increase sales and profitability of the company, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction through communicating with customers on the phone or online through email.

Responsibilities:
  • Strive to achieve lead generation targets and contribute to the company's improvement.
  • Answer incoming and outgoing calls and emails.
  • Maintain detailed transaction and customer information in the Database, ensuring accurate information.
  • Prepare and send Information Literature packets to prospective customers to generate interest in DRI.
  • Explain our company and products to prospective customers, addressing their needs and offering solutions.
  • Manage new and existing accounts in the DF System.
  • Research permit fees, plans, and registration requirements.
  • Create, Modify and Update documentation.
  • Arrange meetings and prepare presentation materials.
  • Gather information about plan stamps, review timelines, and communication details in writing.
  • Collect, review, format and provide customer feedback with supervisor.
  • Stay informed about current trends, industries, and growth through media monitoring.
  • Promote our maintenance and repair services.
  • Maintain regular and frequent communication with the supervisor regarding schedule and goals.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification.
  • Completion of an associate degree or a higher level of education
  • 1+ years' experience in business development, lead generation, sales, or marketing is desirable. Candidates with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating quality leads are particularly sought after.
  • Understanding the sales process, negotiating skills, and the ability to close deals are crucial for converting leads into customers.
  • Familiarity with the roofing industry is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are vital for effectively communicating with potential clients through emails, phone calls, and presentations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple leads and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in various lead generation techniques, such as cold calling, email marketing, social media outreach, content marketing, and networking, is essential.
  • Business Development/Lead Generation Specialists need to be proactive and self-motivated individuals who can identify opportunities and take initiative to pursue them.
  • Resilience: Lead generation can be challenging, so resilience and the ability to handle rejection are important for maintaining motivation.
