About the Role

Lam Research is seeking a highly experienced Business Development Director to join our Global Customer Operations Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing strategic market and product line business plans, identifying volume and strategic customers, and building long-term relationships with new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a growth strategy focused on financial performance, customer value, and trust, leveraging multi-product deals.
  • Prepare or oversee sales contracts to ensure adherence to established rules and guidelines.
  • Support customer executive engagements and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute plans to grow revenue and expand market share.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales and business development professionals to achieve their full potential.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 15+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent; or 12+ years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 8+ years experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role.
  • Proven successful business track record with a strong focus on customer success.
  • Experience in customer support and executive-level communication is a plus.
  • Travel 20-25% domestic and international.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. SAP).
  • Proficiency in English and preferred language skills in Mandarin Chinese.
  • Market knowledge, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and manage time effectively.

Our salary range for this position is $147,000 - $311,000, depending on factors such as location, level, education, and experience. We also offer a comprehensive set of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
