SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of our North America business.This includes sales at accounts related to the Polyurethane market and focus on CASE and Spay foam industry.The position will succeed in creating new sales by using through a technical understanding of the issues facing customers, the logistics issues as well as business issues and providing solutions through Jiahua’s products and solutions.
KEY INTERFACES
Employees, America’s CEO, Commercial Director in the US, Marketing GM’s in China and other regional sales managers in USA and beyond
Multi-level contact at potential clients and existing clients, (upper management, purchase, technical)
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Full understanding of the Polyurethane market in North America, a solid network of contacts and a passion for solving customer problems.
Development of market strategies in association with the Amercia’s commercial and technical teams
Development of presentations of products and solutions, especially in the areas that use polyether polyols
Polyether Polyols will be roughly 60% of the responsibility. The candidate must also be able to sell other Jiahua products in Surfactant customers.
Frequent visits to customers – weekly agenda and monthly call plans
Development of strong multi-level relationships with all key accounts
Negotiating yearly sales / margin budget with Commercial director and America’s CEO
Putting together plans and executing the plans to achieve the yearly sales / margin budget.
Communicating globally on key customers and market trends
Use of account planning methodology and use of Sales Force system.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or other technical degree preferred.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
More than 5 years’ experience in the polyurethane sales
Good understanding of polyurethane chemistry
Technical ability to learn areas such as foam system and surfactants
Ability to develop new and unfamiliar markets
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High proficiency in Microsoft applications and Sales Force
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team
Multicultural work environment experience a plus
Must be fluent in English – Spanish or Portuguese would be a plus
