A health services system in Florida is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their team in Tampa as a Senior IT Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst.

Responsibilities:

The Senior IT Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst will:

Develop and establish quality assurance standards and measures across the organization Ensure all testing follows best practice standards and acceptance criteria for all software products that are either built in-house, leveraged through a third-party solution, and/or configured in the cloud Assess, plan, coordinate, organize, and lead QA / testing improvement and compliance related initiatives Assist in continuously improving QA and testing processes, procedures, and training practices Perform post-implementation audits, partnering with internal stakeholders, to ensure that all changes made to the production environment conform to the desired quality standard Handle other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in Information System Development, Implementation, Quality Assurance, Audit, and/or support of Technology Systems Bachelor's Degree in Computer science, Information Technology, business administration or related field. Experience related to developing and executing test strategies/ plans, test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and managing defects Experience related to developing and maintaining testing standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent testing procedures; created standards for appropriate escalation activities when defects are identified in testing Proficient with developing various standardized quality assurance testing templates, reporting templates and/ or dashboards to identify, log, & track defects through closure Experience in investigating problems and issues to isolate the problems, recommend solutions and appropriate tools (i.e., automation, etc.) and work with developers to correct the issues In-depth understanding of the various testing concepts (e.g., Functional, Usability, Availability, Performance) Experience in business workflow mapping Experience developing and executing test plans to ensure all stakeholder and QA objectives are met Experience designing test cases/test scenarios for validating applications in accordance with required functionality and non-functional quality attributes (e.g., System, Availability, Performance) Experience with automated functional GUI test tools Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio) Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities

Desired Skills:

Master's Degree Computer science, Information Technology, business administration or related field Relevant experience in a research, academic, scientific, or healthcare environment Related experience in an academic/research/Cancer Center environment
