Our roasting platform allows Bellwether customers to easily and responsibly source green coffee from incredible coffee farms around the world, expertly roast using artisan-crafted roast profiles (or create their own), and share fresh, delicious coffee just the way their customers like it. About you You are a crucial member of the team. Youre an integrity-driven person who enjoys solving problems, rapidly adapts to change, and thoughtfully shares your progress and ideas with the team. You have a sense of urgency with everything you do without compromising quality and detail. Youre naturally empathetic and deeply committed to the equitable treatment of all people everywhere. About the position The ideal person for this position is someone who is currently or has recently worked in a sales or account management role in the specialty coffee industry. You enjoy discovering new prospects, building relationships, and signing happy customers. You appreciate working on innovative commercial product development and being part of a team. Youre also interested in the huge impact the Bellwether roaster will have on the coffee industry. Regular travel of identified metro area, as well as travel to our headquarters twice a year, is expected in this role. Key Responsibilities

What success looks like * Work to achieve outlined sales goals and KPIs * Develops sales funnel by making sales calls and visits to prospective customers * Hosts prospective customers for demos, tours, and product overview * Partner with the Field Services Representative to provide a positive customer experience for all Bellwether roasters in your area * Assist in the planning, organization, and execution of sales events in your region * Understand problems customers are trying to solve and ways Bellwether provides solutions * Run point on the new customer relationship through the Bellwether install * Guide customers through setting up their site, planning their coffee menu, and getting started roasting * Manage every accounts continued green coffee purchasing and retention Qualifications * Track record of success in a regional or equivalent sales or account management role for the past two to four years * Expert understanding of sales cycles and resources needed to meet goals * Expert experience utilizing CRM tools such as Salesforce, and business tools like G Suite * Experience successfully implementing sales strategies effectively and in a timely manner * Strong ability to work autonomously in a remote role, while being proactive in communication with a dispersed team; strong ability to collaborate * Excellent communication, both verbally and written * High value on customer support and building/maintaining strong customer relationships * Travel within your region daily, national travel opportunities two to three times per year * Pass DMV check, maintain valid drivers license, and clean driving record * Eligibility to work in the United States * Proof of full vaccination for COVID-19 is required before commencing work Desired * Deep familiarity with the specialty coffee scene in the Bay Area * Experience working with entrepreneurs and/or in early-stage companies EEO Statement We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
