Carriage Tours depart from the barn starting at 9am to 10pm most days.

There are both am and pm shifts available for full time staff members. Responsibilities Delight customers with our southern hospitality and service Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge, solid software skills, and accuracy in all financial transactions Organize and dispatch all horse-drawn carriage tours Work in conjunction with sales, tour guides, and barn crew in a tourism and hospitality environment Help foster a culture of excellence by treating customers and colleagues with respect Anticipate the needs of your team and customers alike, and be at the ready to lend a hand Experienced in a customer-facing and service-minded environment Ability to exercise logistical skills and good judgement in a fast-paced environment A positive, professional team player Comfortable around animals including large draft horses Organized, attentive, and detail-oriented Valid drivers license with reliable transportation Pre-employment drug screen Open availability with schedules being posted two weeks out About Old South Carriage Company Old South Carriage Company is a family owned business that was established in 1983 with 3 horses and one small carriage. Today, with 40+ horses, three barns, multiple downtown sales locations, and a fleet of 20 carriages, Old South Carriage offers what you would expect from a large touring company without sacrificing the personal commitment unique to a family owned business. We are a premier tour operator with a focus on serving our Charleston visitors with unsurpassed hospitality and providing excellent equine care to our horses.
