Job Summary:

Were looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to join our PharmScript team within our Purchasing department. As a Purchasing Coordinator, the candidate functions as a support to all procurement activities of the department. The ideal candidate is a people person who enjoys troubleshooting and resolving problems and is dedicated to helping customers. For you, no task feels too small and no challenge impossible. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Assists in procurement of pharmaceutical reviews daily reports for accurate cost, inventory review, negative margin report review, research usage for opportunity buys, follow up with vendors for returns and price adjustments
  • Assist Purchasing supervisor as necessary
  • Provide recommendations for reviews
  • Follow through with managements decisions and complete task in a timely manner
Qualifications:
  • Able to work independently as well as in a diverse, team environment
  • Reliable, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, professional demeanor
  • 2 years of pharmacy experience, purchasing experience a plus
  • High school or equivalent
