Description

•Achieve sales goals and maintain communication with Distributors regarding promotions, growth plans and opportunities in the market.
•Sales management through visits to the market.
•Develop and manage sales activities for the district, guided by goals and objectives of the Sales division.
•Manager a team of approximately 3-5 District Managers.
•Partners with peer Sales Managers, Territory Managers and Sales Directors to drive the development of divisional sales policies, procedures and strategies.
•Meets administrative expectations (understands and adheres to all company, regulatory/compliance policies and procedures).
•Maximize distribution, shelving, and merchandising of Barcel products in assigned retail stores (i.e. Wal-Mart, Grocery and Convenience stores).
•Manage assigned store groups and administer trade promotion programs.
•Manage trade contracts, display programs and expense budgets.
•Participate in new product launches and store resets at customer locations.
•Perform special projects at the direction of the Territory Manager.

Qualifications

•Must have experience in Food and Beverage product sales.
•At least 3 years' experience in sales management/leadership role.
•Demonstrated experience in effectively hiring, developing and managing the performance of a sales team.
•Experience with 3rd party Direct Sales Distribution (DSD).
•Willingness to travel (Domestically and internationally).
•Excellent written and verbal communicastion skills required.
•Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
•Demonstrated skill in organizing work, setting priorities and planning.
•Ability to pay close attention to detail and demonstrate accuracy and diligence in completed work.
•Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
