This, along with our rapid growth, means accelerated promotion opportunities for every motivated Fresh Ideas team member Job SummaryWorking as the Director of Dining Services for FRESH IDEAS, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day Foodservice operations at PERU STATE COLLEGE. You will manage and lead a team of employees and you will be responsible for managing client relationships, profitability of the account, and talent development. Peru State College is a significant part of the community, providing educational opportunities and cultural events. The college brings a youthful energy to the town. Peru hosts various community events throughout the year, such as fairs, festivals, and local gatherings, which can be great for meeting people and getting involved. Being near the Missouri River, residents can enjoy river-related activities and scenic views. Key Responsibilities:Oversees all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the accountMaintains excellent relationships with the clientWorks with the Chef and management team in creating nutritious and top quality food for the studentsImplements new culinary programs in conjunction with the Chartwells marketing and culinary teamsActs as a liaison between Chartwells, the school administration, staff, students and the community Preferred Qualifications:A.S. or equivalent experienceThree to five years of foodservice management experience requiredSchool dining experience preferredStrong leadership and communication skillsFinancial and business acumenExcellent communication skills About Compass Group: Achieving leadership in the foodservice industryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
