Position Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a crucial role in delivering resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Responsibilities include:
  • Providing age-appropriate care tailored to the physical and psychological needs of residents as outlined in their care plans.
  • Assisting with essential daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and obtaining vital signs.
  • Supporting residents in mobility and physical activities, including transferring and repositioning.
  • Facilitating a positive dining experience by assisting with meals and snacks.
  • Documenting resident interactions and changes in condition, and communicating these to the nursing staff.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in living areas and assisting with housekeeping tasks.
  • Encouraging participation in wellness and recreational programs.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED (preferred but not mandatory). A minimum age of 16 is required, with prior experience in long-term care being advantageous. Certification as a Nursing Assistant is required, with training provided by the facility.
