Job Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a crucial role in delivering resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs.
- Providing emotional support and personal care.
- Aiding in mobility and exercise routines.
- Ensuring a positive dining experience for residents.
- Documenting care activities and communicating changes in resident conditions to nursing staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Required certification as a Nursing Assistant.
- Previous experience in long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.
