Destination Yamaha (DY) Coordinator will be responsible for all communications to prospective new rental partners as they learn about the program details.

They will be responsible for managing the completion of all onboarding documentation including NDA, Marketing Agreement and Business License. They will coordinate with the partner for all online web assets, online booking, name collection, marketing placement and management.

They will manage the web assets (with support from Marketing/IT team) for Destination Yamaha making sure the website is accurate and current with all partners being represented. They will frequently reach out to all existing partners to check rental activity, compliance to guidelines and partner satisfaction.

They will be responsible for name collection and name matching to the retail sales file to measure retail conversion from rental activity.

They will build orders and see the entire process through, ensuring optimal dealer and partner satisfaction.

They will work with the rental manager on developing future concepts for the program.

They will maintain communication and relationships with all partners and field staff.

Coordinator will also support Secure Your Ride (SYR) online deposit program in the following areas:

Lead Follow Up with dealers and customers.

Recommend and develop digital assets to promote program.

Communicate program terms/benefits to dealers and field staff.

Essential Job Duties / Functions :

  • Onboarding: Consulting with each new partner to sign them to the Destination Yamaha program and ensuring all paperwork is completed including NDA, Marketing Agreement, and business license as well as making sure all Yamaha expectations are explained.
  • Work directly with Yamaha dealers on coordinating partner’s orders by providing profit breakdown estimates, cross checking if they want to use their existing inventory for the order, getting pricing agreements between the partner and dealer, seeing the order through, and make sure the dealer gets their program credits.
  • Work directly with internal Yamaha staff to coordinate partner’s orders. This includes working with Commercial finance for partners that are financing their order and working with Inventory Planning to check inventory on product and ship out units.
  • Educate field staff and dealers on program specifications, needs, network changes and opportunities.
  • Prospecting: Develop lead lists for new prospects using data collected from online contact forms, field staff, and prospective research.
  • Make sure onboarding processes are followed so all partners are represented, and assets are collected for the website including photos, logo, web info, booking and social media links. Make sure rules and guidelines are followed for partners.
  • Work with the digital marketing team on any website updates that need to be made and on data integration tool between Peek, EagleRider and Yamaha.
  • Develop POP and promotional marketing materials for DY to send out to partners to increase Destination Yamaha and Yamaha Motor brand presence.
  • Ensure that partners are providing consumer data reports routinely, communicate with partners about rental activity and name capture to ensure names are flowing into our system.
  • Field visits to existing DY partners as well as new prospects, to build relationships and ensure optimal brand presence and partner satisfaction.
  • Work with the Rental Operations Manager to ensure the processes are in place to make the system flow efficiently and successfully to achieve the departmental goals.
  • Help refine Destination Yamaha’s future direction by developing business models like franchising, leasing, etc. that will ensure the opportunity and longevity of the program. Work with Rental Manager and upper management on what their visions for the program are.
  • Coordinate with co-workers to communicate concerns and issues so problems can be resolved quickly.
  • SYR – Lead follow up as needed; Support education and marketing of program (internal and external)

This position requires daily decision making to prioritize projects, utilize time management skills, oversee communications, interact with team members, establish successful review process so projects keep moving to completion.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience in business operations is preferred and college degree is also preferred.
  • The ability to successfully organize, direct and complete projects through to the end is essential.
  • Knowing where to spend time so small details are completed and all loose ends are tied up with no details left undone is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in communication will be required for the success of this position.
  • Being able to organize and be detail oriented will allow success in this position.
  • Taking charge and knowing how to achieve results, time management, assertiveness and follow-through are a strong requirement for this position.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of the midterm plan is required.
