Assist with monthly and quarterly financial close process - journal entries, variance analysis, and post-close financial reporting. Prepare account reconciliations and allocations monthly while maintaining balance sheet reconciliations. Manage fixed asset and lease activities including setup, maintenance, disposals and reporting. Review and analyze FOH costs throughout overhead departments and participate in FOH budget preparation. Assist with site audits and controls/SOX compliance testing. Manage various local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and filings. Any other duties as assigned. Education/Experience Bachelor’s Degree required. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience required and 2 years supervisory experience preferred. Manufacturing or construction accounting background preferred. The ability to interact with employees at every level of the organization. Self-Motivated. Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge. Strong work ethic and positive attitude. Knowledge/Skill Requirements Strong values and high standards of ethics, integrity, and trust. Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Business acumen in manufacturing, distribution and/or construction operations. Strong action orientation and drive for results. Strong oral/written communication/presentation and listening skills. Versed in accounting principles, policies, and procedures. Knowledgeable and experienced in using computerized accounting systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook. The ability to deal with ambiguity and facilitate change. Ability to get along well with a diverse staff of employees. Thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Work independently without constant supervision. Work Requirements Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check. Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors and the general public at all times. Willing to travel and work away from home when required. Willing to work nights and weekends when necessary. Report to the office dressed appropriately and ready to begin work at the designated start time.
