DescriptionJoin our team in Washington D.C. as an Expansion Sales Associate and take charge of creating programming opportunities and fostering relationships with key stakeholders in the area.Make a difference with Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center by leveraging your skills to secure contractsAs an Expansion Sales Associate, you will play a pivotal role in connecting our organization with customers such as schools, community centers, and recreation centers. Your goal is to enhance awareness, build trust, and form new partnerships that benefit the youth and communities we serve.This is a commission-based position with the potential to earn significant rewards.Directly report to the Expansion Coordinator as you contribute your expertise to impact the lives of hundreds of children and communities through the Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center.Responsibilities•Serve as the main point of contact for partnerships and branding initiatives in the Washington D.C. area on behalf of Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center.•Secure meetings with both existing and potential partners to promote the organization's offerings.•Stay well-informed about the programs and partnership opportunities available within the organization.•Proactively seek out and manage new leads to enhance the organization's outreach.•Identify innovative ways to introduce programs to new partners and explore untapped markets for partnership growth.•Cultivate strong relationships with partners to ensure their satisfaction and act as their primary contact within the organization.•Create strategies to keep the organization's offerings relevant to current partners and attract new collaborators.Qualifications•Passionate about building relationships and driving sales in the Washington D.C., DC area.•Customer service-oriented with a strong focus on service excellence.•Outgoing and confident personality to effectively engage with colleagues and potential customers.•Proficient in written, oral, and presentation skills to communicate effectively.•Capable of working independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines.•Willingness to travel and work in diverse environments.•Resilient and persistent with the ability to handle rejection positively.•Excellent organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.•Able to make decisions within established guidelines and policies.•Positive attitude towards working with adults and thriving in a team environment.•Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required, with preference for an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.•1-3 years of experience in sales or customer service roles.
