About ThedaCare
Summary :
The 340B Compliance Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the ThedaCare 340B program including but not limited to accumulator software maintenance, compliance auditing, program optimization, 340B inventory management, and disseminating education and best practices. Collaborates with Manager of Pharmacy Operations for all audits both internal and external. Assists in developing, reporting, and monitoring key performance indicators with stakeholders.
Job Description:
Key Accountabilities
1. Develop a thorough understanding of the split-billing system and the functions to be performed.
2. Perform audits on a scheduled basis; may involve presenting and resolving reconciliation issues as they arise during the monitoring and reconciliation process.
3. Assess opportunities for cost savings and system improvements to yield higher compliance.
4. Develop reports that can be used to educate staff and assist management in tracking the overall financial impact to the organization. Build other reports, as appropriate, to monitor and improve 340B Program compliance and performance.
5. Oversee all aspects of the inventory purchasing process for the applicable inpatient and outpatient pharmacies.
6. Develop systems and processes to limit program liabilities and provide proper audits to identify risk and prevent duplicate discounts and diversion.
7. Expand professional development through related classes and seminars, current publications, and regional/national association membership participation.
8. Disseminating knowledge to staff. Develop and foster working relationships with internal working counterparts (IT, internal audit, results, accounting, and others) to facilitate productive exchanges of information to improve program efficiency and promote program compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED; Must be 18 years of age
- Apexus 340B University Certificate of Completion - highly desired, otherwise required within the first 6 months of hire.
- Apexus 340B Advanced Operations Certificate - highly desired, otherwise required within first 6 months of hire.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance
- Job classification is not exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties
WORK ENVIRONMENT - Climate controlled office setting with daily movement throughout the hospital campus
- Interaction with department members and other healthcare providers
- Use of computers throughout the workday
