Position Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing the operational efficiencies of the designated site by providing timely insights to the management team. This involves identifying and refining trends, ensuring adherence to budgets, and influencing business leaders with comprehensive financial data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and report variances in manufacturing costs and material standards to uncover improvement opportunities.
  • Participate actively in the monthly financial closing process, ensuring all transactions and obligations are accurately recorded.
  • Drive initiatives for continuous improvement within the operations finance team to enhance processes and information flow.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop tools, models, and analyses that assess key performance indicators, benchmark costs, and support capacity investments.
  • Translate complex financial and accounting information into easily understandable concepts to enhance the capabilities of all employees.
  • Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for assigned locations, covering expenses and capital expenditures.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, supplier audits, and relevant state and federal regulations.

Desired Skills and Qualifications
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in problem definition, data collection, and articulating insights compellingly to drive recommendations to conclusion.
  • Strong knowledge of finance, financial methodologies, tools, and strategies.
  • Familiarity with the processes and tools necessary for maintaining organizational books and preparing financial statements and reports.

Additional Requirements
  • Willingness to work at the assigned production location a minimum of 3-4 days a week to foster relationships with the operations team and gain a practical understanding of the site.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
