Position Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiencies at their designated site. This position involves providing timely insights to the management team by identifying and refining trends, ensuring adherence to budgets, and guiding business leaders with financial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze and report variances in manufacturing costs and material standards to pinpoint areas for improvement.
2. Engage actively in the monthly financial closing process, ensuring all transactions and obligations are accurately recorded.
3. Propel continuous improvement initiatives within the operations finance team to enhance processes and information flow, thereby increasing the overall impact of analyst roles nationally.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop tools, models, and analyses that assess key performance indicators, benchmark costs, and support capacity investments.
5. Simplify financial and accounting data into comprehensible concepts to foster employee development.
6. Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for assigned locations, encompassing both expenses and capital expenditures.
7. Ensure compliance with corporate policies, supplier audits, and relevant state and federal regulations.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to engage and influence individuals at all organizational levels.
- Proficient in problem definition, data collection, and articulating insights effectively to drive recommendations to completion.
- Strong knowledge of finance, financial methodologies, tools, and strategies.
- Familiarity with the processes and tools necessary for maintaining organizational books and preparing financial statements and reports.

Additional Requirements

- Willingness to work on-site a minimum of 3-4 days per week to cultivate relationships with the operations team and gain a comprehensive understanding of the site.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
