OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

The Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Coordinator will work in conjunction with the BCS Superintendent and administrative team to oversee and support compensation, health and welfare benefits

, staff compliance training and development, employee relations and retention, EEO compliance, credentialing, and recruitment

. This position can work remotely on occasion but does still need to be available in person and during PST work hours.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Assure employees possess the appropriate and valid credential relevant to their position and determine the placement of staff accordingly

Assist in the development and implementation of policies and programs to create a safe and supportive work environment

Assist in the development and implementation of the evaluation process for all employees

Maintain all records and files related to personnel, including all leaves and absences for payroll documentation, criminal background checks, I-9 forms, etc.

Support with the recruitment of candidates for potential positions, including writing and posting job descriptions and updating the application process

Communicate with outside organizations (including legal counsel, back office providers, and insurance companies) to coordinate needs, resolve issues, and update policies when necessary

Oversee onboarding and off-boarding process for new, promoted, and terminated employees

Maintain all data files related to employment and provide necessary documentation when necessary

Respond to written and verbal inquiries from internal and external sources for the purpose of resolving problems, in accordance with school policies

WHO YOU ARE:

You can operate independently in a fast-paced environment

You build strong relationships and can be trusted by all partners

You communicate clearly and effectively

You have strong interpersonal skills and can handle situations with tact and diplomacy

You manage multiple projects simultaneously

You maintain confidentiality

You have 3+ years of professional experience in human resources, preferably in a school-setting

You have a BA/BS in personnel administration, public/business administration or a related field (preferred)
